C.L.A.S.S. 101 -- Being a Member!
Our goal is for everyone to at least know someone at Sonrise.  You are more than just a number or a warm body taking up space on planet earth.  God has a plan in how to develop meaningful relationships and how to become a part of a true spiritual family that will not bore your socks off!

We enjoy seeing and assisting people to take their first spiritual steps after accepting the Good News of Jesus Christ:

Baptism: What a tremendous joy it is to serve people who want to publicly express their commitment to Christ through water baptism (Acts 2:41). (read more)  

C.L.A.S.S. 101: Getting to know this Sonrise family.  A lot of people ask, "What does it mean to be a part of this family?"  This is where most people learn first hand about this family. 

Membership: Sonrise's only requirements for membership are accepting Jesus Christ as savior, being baptized, completing C.L.A.S.S. 101, and signing the Membership Covenant.  It has been so exciting to welcome so many new members into our family in this past year.  Each member receives a copy of the covenant in which all members of our family abide by.

Small Groups: There are numerous small groups in the Johnson City area meeting.  These groups are organized as Men, Women, Singles, and Couples. (read more)

FALL FEAST!  A blast of food, fellowship and fun is what took place Saturday afternoon, September 29, 2001.  Who could ask for anything else. Sonrise definitely knows how to be a church family and how to have fun.  Look at the pics of events ranging from horseshoe to food to campfires to hayrides.  The afternoon was filled with so many events like fixing smores over the campfire, watching a movie outside at night.  Wow, it was so much fun, we had to do it again Sunday afternoon.  Check back soon, more fun is on the way.
